My journey is a mosaic of purpose and action & to truly understand the person I am today, we need to journey back, way back, to my origins. It's in those early chapters that the seeds of my passion for social impact were planted.

Developing and implementing strategies for advancing health equity, leading humanitarian aid or advancing social impact for 81 countries across Easter Europe, Middle-East and Africa in my role as Social Impact and Sustainability Director;

Supporting marginalized communities as a Co-Founder and Director of SwiZim Trust, serving on the boards of Swiss nonprofits dedicated to driving social impact like Conscious Influence Hub and Friends for Matibi;

Delivering inspiring keynotes, authoring impactful books, designing valuable resources for advancing social impact or lending my voice to thought-provoking podcasts,

Odyssey: My Voyage Through Life
I burst onto the scene in 1990, a little bundle of energy, ready to rule the world with my bewildered older siblings in tow.
Evolving Through Loss: Life threw me a curveball early on with the loss of both my parents in 1997 and 1998 at age 7/8.
Moved to live with my uncle and his family in Zvimba. It was like stepping into the real-life version of a survival TV show, but also a masterclass in Ubuntu spirit.
Footnotes of Courage: I'm that girl you read about, the one who rocked up to school without shoes. As Oprah wisely says, "I may be wearing shoes now, but my feet are still on the ground!"
Next curve ball - losing both my aunt and uncle and having to move yet again. The next part of my journey led me to Bulawayo, where I spent all my teenage years, taken in by kind relatives. This part had its share of ups and downs, including unforgettable challenges.
In 2012, I met my soul-mate, Lukas while working on a project supporting vulnerable children.
Blessed with financial support, I finalized my Bachelors Degree, in History and International Relations. I was the first in my family to go so far! My pursuit of knowledge became a lifelong quest.
In 2016, Lukas and I tied the knot in Switzerland on a very rainy day in January.
Lukas & I did all kinds of odd jobs we needed to do to make ends meet. Today we are both doing work that we love and believe are called to do. We remained focused on the bigger dreams even as doors were momentarily shut in out faces.
In 2016, I triumphantly earned my Masters Degree in African Studies, majoring in sustainable development. I also became an expert at juggling books, notes, wedding planning (yes, two weddings!), and a thesis. It was multitasking boot camp.
My career zigzagged through various NGO stints before landing at MSD in 2018. I started as an overqualified intern and, lo and behold, ended up in my dream job.
The family expanded in 2021 with the arrival of our son, Noa. Diaper duty and sleepless nights became a way of life, but Noa's arrival has ignited a fire in me to leave the world a better place.
In 2023, I'll finally conquer the academic Everest with my doctoral degree that I started in 2019, young and full of life! It's like earning a black belt in the martial art of social impact.
Life On Stage: Today, I have the great pleasure of learning to embrace who I am and unleash positive social impact in the world - on and off stage.
No Longer Hustling for My Worthiness: Along this journey, I've realized that I no longer need to hustle for my worthiness. It's a profound shift, so much so that I'm penning a book about it! Stay Tuned!
